Based on decision derived from using our internal “decision tree support” tool; the supervising doctors of Medic’Air also order the mission on the commercial airlines, in Business Class or on the stretcher in the vast majority of cases, in cost control and also for the comfort of the patient on very long distances.

Agreements between Medic’Air and certain airlines allows us to get on flights of medical benefits in a short time :

– Obtain a stretcher for a patient at the back of the cabin
– Permission to get onboard oxygen therapy devices
– Extra seat(s), wheelchair, tarmac access
– Access to secured electrical sources

On the long haul flights with Air France and Lufthansa, we have a possibility of repatriation a stable patient, yet still under mechanical ventilation.
A permanent medical agreement with Air France and KLM, as well as a simplified procedure with Brussels Airlines, allows us to obtain the stretcher or the oxygen in less than 24 hours for our patients.

It is easy to organize at the departure as well as the arrival of a junction hospital – airport by a land ambulance (short distance) or by air ambulance (Combi-Evac) arranged also by Medic’Air, as a part of its “bed-to-bed” service.
